OUR NETWORK
SERVER MONITORING
Our
Server Security and Monitoring System (SSMS) is a comprehensive security, maintenance, and upgrade service freely offered to all
customers hosted on our servers.
This is one of the many things that
differentiate us from others: We do not just sell a hosting space! You can host with us and maintain your peace of mind.
Our SSMS is a combination of software and human manpower that is working constantly 'behind the scenes' to give you a superior Internet experience. It ensures your website and mails remain undisrupted, while
you focus on building your business.
Key Benefits of our SSMS:
Our servers (and your online business) stay at peak performance
Eliminates the need for expensive technical employees
Stops hackers
Eliminates the added costs that these problems would incur
Manages dozens of other issues you never even know about
Our SSMS is comprised of 3 main programs running separately of each other, but working together to give
you the highest level of security and monitoring.
Proactive PortStarter
Generally, web servers "talk" to the outside world through ports.
These ports are the only way in and out of the server, so they are an extremely integral part of
your online presence.
Our SSMS constantly monitors these ports on all our servers, checking to make sure they are available to you,
and your site visitors. If a port is closed for any reason, our SSMS opens it and follows an algorithm to discover why it is
closed and rectify the issue.
Server Stabilizer
The Server Stabilizer continuously monitors all processes running on our servers and react accordingly, so as to keep the servers running efficiently and securely.
It will find runaway processes, which could potentially "hang" the server, and kill those processes. It will monitor CPU time, hack attempts are located and killed, and it will find scripts that
may be harmful to the servers' operations and deactivates them.
Server Updates
Nothing keeps a server more stable and secure than keeping the software and Operating System up to date.
As part of our SSMS, our engineers work diligently to assess the stability of new software releases and security patches.
After being fully tested and qualified, new software releases
and patches are installed on our servers.
