Impending Price Increases in .ng Domains

The Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NiRA), the .ng registry has notified us of its intention to increase the prices of all .ng domain names, effective 1st February 2025.
This price increase hovers generally over 200% increase in some of the .ng domain names segment. This is quite significant and we are hereby notifying you of this impending increase and how you may cover yourself from this exposure.
NiRA presently allows renewal of .ng domain names for up to 5 years. We therefore, advice that you make arrangement to renew all your .ng domain names at the current prices for up to 5 years as soon as possible. We will be ready to provide you the required invoice for this renewal based on your request.
